Waukesha West won the 4x8 relay in 10:00.7 with Merrill coming in second in 10:13.9. In last years WIAA State Meet West and Merrill finished 1-2 in the D1 4x8 event.



4x4 relay team members are shown in the upper left waiting for teammates prior to the exchange of the baton. After numerous lead changes Verona emerged the winner with a time of 4:14.4. Verona team members [L-R] were Niki Parker, Megan Kasten, Jaclyn Witte, and Kirsten Aarsvold. Waukesha West was second [4:16.5], Westosha Central third [ 4:18.2, Merrill fourth [ 4:23.0], Frankin fifth [4:28.9, Parker sixth [4:29.2; Oak Creek seventh [4:30.2] and Beloit eighth [4:37.0]. .

After a very competitive meet runners from all teams gathered in the infield to enjoy and react to State Meet Announcer Randy Pickering's selection of music.
