Many outstanding performances were recorded at the 32nd annual Lady Spartan invitation held at Brookfield East [Prime Time Timing results].
Mark Woodford took the picture on the left of the 3200m run at the Lady Spartan Invitational.
L-R: Senior Sarah Glowacki [Wauwatosa East, 4th, 11:51.20], junior Kate Lydy [Germantown, 2nd, 11:29.59], senior Molly Woodford [Waukesha South, 3rd, 11:45.12], and ninth grader Megan Palmer the winner from Whitefish Bay [11:25.21].
The eighteen team Lady Spartan made quite an impression on the week 6 Honor Roll. Some of the many fine performances were:
Muskego's Liz Sobczak won the high jump [ 5' 04], placed second in the 200m [26.74] and anchored Muskego's 4x4 relay team [4:15.49] to a win.
Calanettta Burrows a junior from Menomonee Falls continued her assault on the Honor Roll hurdle lists with times of 15.56 and 47.03 in the HH and LH events.

The Wauwatosa West tandem of Calli Burkhart [far left] and Melanie Loehndorf [near left] moved into the Honor Roll lists for the 100m and 200m dash events while the West 4x8 relay team made a big jump on the list with their 10:02.93 time.
Menomonee Falls and Divine Savior Holy Angels continued to improve in the 4x4 and 4x2 relays.
In the field events Milwaukee Pius XI senior Sonja Zoric took the Honor Roll lead in the shot put [43' 02.75] and moved into the top five in the discus [117' 10].
Nicolet's Kathleen Hannan triple jumped 36' 04.25 to advance on the TJ list.
