Left: Junior Kaya Senaya of Brown Deer successfully defended her D2 100m and 200m titles. She won the 100m dash in 12.41 [12.27 prelims] and the 200m dash with a time of 25.21. On the right ninth grader Maya Vazquez of the Arcadia Raiders is pictured coming out of the turn in the 200m event in which she finished second [25.51]. Senaya [gold Brown Deer jersey] was timed in 25.48 in winning the 200m.

Left:Racine Case senior Akaila Cabell won the D1 100m in 12.43 [11.98 prelims]. The top three 100m finishers are shown above [L-R] Chim Okoroji [11th, Eau Claire Memorial, 3rd 12.62], winner Cabell and second place finisher sophomore Jasmyn Hudgins [Milwaukee Bradley Technical, 2nd, 12.47].


Left: D1 200m winner Jasmyn Hudgins of Milwaukee Bradley Technical [ 24.87]. Above Sharay Hale [ orange jersey] of Milwaukee Riverside and Cabell have a slight lead before Hudgins accelerated to barely edge Cabell 24.89] by 2/100ths of a second at the finish. Hale finished in third [25.00, 24.59 prelims].
Far left: D1 400m winner Akaila Cabell of Racine Case. Cabell ran a 56.52 while Milwaukee Riverside sophomore Sharay Hale [left] posted a 56.74 to finish second. With their performances Cabell and Hale moved to the top of the Honor Roll Top Twenty list in the 400m dash event. Both athletes are pictured in the preliminaries on Friday, June 1, in which constant rain made for extra challenges to all the athletes.





Both Hale and
Cabell made their marks on the All-Time Best Performance Lists compiled by Mark Rongstad on his Wisconsin Track and Field Web Site.
