Titan Invite: Division 1

Monday, March 17, 2008 at the Kolf Sports Center on the campus of UW-Oshkosh. Results





Junior Melissa Flucke [above] of the Ashwaubenon Jaguars opened the season with two impressive wins. She vaulted 10' 06 to win the pole vault event and then jumped 5' 03 to place first in the high jump. Flucke is pictured clearing 5' 02.


Taylor Schaefer of Kimberly was 2nd in the HJ [5' 02] while 5 jumpers cleared 5' 00.


Brittaney Patske of Green Bay East [left] was one of five jumpers to clear 5' 00. Based on misses she placed 5th.

Titan Shot Put Event

Ann Lazare [above left] a senior from Stevens Point placed second in the SP event with a throw of 36' 01.

New London's Kayla Oberstadt [above] was third [35' 09.50].

Heidi Baerenwald from Appleton East won the Titan Invite shot put event with a throw of 41'.07.75' [her winning throw is pictured above right]. She placed second in the 2007 State meet [43' 00.00].

The 2007 Titan Invite winner in the shot put was Peggy Seidler from Wausau West [pictured above right with the measuring tape]. Seidler is now a freshman at UW - Oshkosh and is a member of the Titan Women's Track and Field Teams coached by Deb Vercauteren. The meet was staffed by members of the UW-Oshkosh track and field team.
