Left: Sugar River's Ashley Beutler a senior who is a UW-Madison recruit cut 9 seconds off her Tuesday night performance at the UW-Platteville Pioneer meet when she posted a 5:15.51 performance. Casey Morgan [blue uniform] of Northeast High School [Gooselake, IA] was second in 5:22.28. Above: Beutler is pictured above with teammate Carly Brown. Brown a senior who finished second in the 3200m. Kacey Rindy a senior from Fennimore won the 3200m .


Ciara Wiegel [left] of Darlington was fifth in the 1600m. UW-Platteville hosted 20 girls teams and 19 boys teams in the morning and early afternoon session of the Tri-State at Williams Field House.The large school portion of the Tri-State Meet began in the late afternoon.

Abby Wedig of Darlington [above left] placed second in the 800m run [2:27.79]. Above right: Marshall's Tai Hansen ran a 2:44.56 to place 10th while Fennimore's Jerica Nelson [above] posted a 2:39.42 to place 6th in the 800m run.

The Sugar River 4x8 relay team placed third with a time of 10:29.13. Runners were [L-R[] Amanda Crary, Carly Brown, Anysia Secord and anchor Ashley Beutler.
