Cross Country D1 Sectional At Stoughton High School

Stoughton senior Kiah Ehrke [465] took first in the Stoughton D1 Cross Country Sectional with a time of 14:54. The Janesville Craig girls team took first with 37 points while a young Oconomowoc team was second with 97 points.

Above: Cassadi Running a Janesville Craig senior was second [384, 15.25] while teammate Rachel Gilmore a sophomore [378, 15.31] was third. Craig took 2,3,5,12, and 15th. Also shown above is ninth grader Molly Baker [481, 24th] from Watertown.

Below L-R: Senior Micaela Magsamen from Fort Atkinson was 4th, Megan Muhs a junior from Janesville Craig was 5th while ninth grader Mandy Prom from Oconomowoc was 6th.


At the 2007 State D1 Cross Country Meet Kiah Ehrke [left] finished sixth helping the Stoughton girls to a fourth place team finish.



Junior Regina Griffith [right, 379] finished 19th for the State bound Cougars from Janesville Craig.



Ninth grader Hannah Heidvogel [430, purple uniform] from Oconomowoc finished 17th overall and second for her team to help Oconomowoc to a second place finish and a trip to Wisconsin Rapids for the State Meet.


Janesville Parker's Catie O'Leary [401] a senior finished 20th.


"15...14...13...12...11..10...9...8...7..." As the countdown progresses the cross country course becomes very quiet as runners wait for the gun to start the race. Each starter is different with the gun signaling the start being fired anytime after the countdown reaches 10. Occonomoc [left] and Burlington [above] are pictured at the start.
