| Eddie Lewis Smith [guitar] and Heather Figi [violin] are two young musicians who recorded the music heard on the Memories Slide Show. The recording was made in Washington DC. Eddie Lewis Smith from New York City specializes in instrumental funk while Heather Figi from Janesville plays in groups that feature classical, jazz, reggae, Afro-Cuban and folk music.
Smith later traveled to China where he taught English while Figi moved to Eugene, Oregon where she teaches violin, composes classical music, writes childrens music books and teaches the Suzuki violin method through the University of Oregon. |
