Above L-R: Milwaukee Bradley Tech's sophomore sprinter Dezerea Bryant won the 100m in 11.90.



Ciara Jarrett a junior from Milwaukee Marshall was third in 12.23 while Chidera Obasih a sophomore from Brookfield Central was second [11.98].

Brookfield Central sophomore Hannah Trasser [left] won the 1600m run with a time of 5:13.51.

Wolverine teammates Mallory Schmidt [above left, #2] and Malayna Beste [above right,#4]. The Waukesha West runners posted times of 5:22.74 and 5:23.13.

Above: Kettle Moraine senior Samantha Berg won the 300m LH with a time of 46.18.

In the 100m HH sophomore Katelyn Malcore [right] won with a time of 15.11.



Coach Jeff Ferguson's 4x8 relay team started the running portion of the sectional meet with a win for the host Spartans from Brookfield East. Taylor Conway [above left-'BE' jersey] led off for Brookfield East. Evie Werking [above right] ran the second leg. Third runner Natalie Dillon is pictured below left while Katie Tolan [below right] anchored for the Spartans. Brookfield East's winning time was 9:36.52. Waukesha West was second in 9:38.64.

Milwaukee Bradley Tech's 4x2 relay team lowered its HR leading time to 1:39.30 when it won the 4x2 relay race. Brookfield Central was 2nd in 1:43.12 while Waukesha West came in third [1:45.25].



Dezerea Bryant [right] led off the relay giving the baton to second runner Sharonda York [left].



Third runner Jasmyn Hudgins is pictured below in the last exchange zone handing off the baton to anchor Symona Gregory.

Defending D1 State Meet 2008 Champion Brookfield Central won the Brookfield East Sectional with 106 points. Bradley Tech was second [93], Waukesha West third [78] and Kettle Moraine fourth [52].
