Jessica Maroszek Sets School Record In Discus Thursday, April 23, 2009 at the Seymour, New London and Oconto Falls Double Dual Meet |

Junior Jescica Maroszek of Seymour is pictured [above left] at the Oconto Falls - New London - Seymour double dual meet. She is shown as she launches the 156' discus throw which gave her the Seymour school record for the discus. At the 2007 State Meet as a ninth grader Jessica finished 7th in the D1 SP and 14th in the discus. As a sophomore she was the D1 champion in the discus and finished 2nd to D1 SP champion Heidi Baerenwald of Appleton East. For the 2009 season Seymour is a D2 school. Maroszek has been consistent and her steady improvement will be fun to follow in the future. Jessica Maroszek wasted no time in smashing her recently set school record. At the Marinette Triangular on Tuesday night, April 28, she had a throw of 158' 3 to set a new record. |
