Chanel Franklin To Compete At Marquette

Marquette cross country and track and field programs have announced the addition of 17 student-athletes
Chanel Franklin a Milwaukee Rufus King senior has signed a Natinal Letter of Intent to compete in track and field at Marquette Unviversity.


Head Track and Field coach Bert Rogers announced the signing of 17 athletes who will join the Marquette cross country and track and field programs.


In addition former Homestead athlete Molly Arenberg and Catholic Memorial graduate Jessa Hackman will join the Golden Eagles cross country program.


Chanel Franklin is a veteran State Meet performer who has made her mark on the 2009 season 100m HR list. Franklin is pictured at the 2008 [left] and 2009 [right] W/TFA meets. Franklin along with teammates Kiara Giles, Kennaye Lewis, Uniqua Taylor, and Shalesa Smith run on the King 4x1 and 4x2 relays teams which are challenging for the top spots on the HR Relay lists.
