Fond du Lac ninth grader Shavanna Talbert had a busy day competiting in the high jump, long jump and shot put Her winning throw in the shot put of 39' 08.25 moved her into the Top Twenty list on the SP HR rankings. Talbert is pictured warming up [L] and in competition [R]. The shot put competition was tight as Green Bay East thrower Marissa Theys threw 39' 05.50 for second and Arrowhead athlete Jackie Pasholk [below right] had a throw of 39' 05.25 to place third. Lake Geneva Badger discus thrower Alex Balnquel is pictured below left. Her throw of 104' 10 placed her second behind the winning toss [107' 05] of Jackie Pasholk from Arrowhead. Pasholk is shown below in the discus event. |
