Whitehall Norse Continue To Impress

In 2005 Whitehall had a 4x2 relay at the WIAA State Meet but did not score points. However Coach Chuck Walek's teams have steadily progressed and in 2006 were 6th at La Crosse, finished 2nd in 2007, were State Champions in 2008, and finished 4th in a very tough D3 field at the 2009 State Meet. This season a variety of athletes in different events have contributed to another very competitive season for the Norse. Whitehall finished third behind Colfax and D2 West Salem at the West Salem Invitaional held on the campus of St. Marys University located in Winona, MN.

Left and above: Caitlin Thomson is shown in the 300m LH event which she won [49.05]. Thomson is on the April 18th HR list in six events. She is the leader in the LJ, 2nd in the TJ and 300 LH, and listed in the 200, and HJ events.
