Faryn Wirkus Sets New D3 Pole Vault Record


Edgar sophomore Faryn Wirkus is pictured discussing her next jump with Edgar co-head Coach Kevin Ruplinger after she set the record.


Rosholt's Jamie Scott had held the old record in the D3 PV of 11' 00 which she set in 2005. Wirkus was also a part of the Edgar record setting 4x1 relay team. The record setting jump is shown above.

Courtney Walden [Above and right] a senior from Oconomowoc vaulted 11' 06 to win the D1 PV Championship.

Cami Gilson an Arrowhead sophomore [red jersey] took second while Alex Flucke a ninth grader from Ashwaubenon [Jaguars] took third.
