 WSD Firebird's Track Program On The Road 
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
In the last two weeks the Firebird track and field teams have competed in Washington DC and Deerfield. This weekend the Wisconsin School for the Deaf track team will head west to Faribault, MN to compete in a meet at the Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf.
The Firebirds competed well at the National Meet held in Washington DC finishing 4th in girls competition and 2nd in the boys portion of the Berg-Seegar Classic Meet held April 16-17.
Lori Eldred [L] is a ninth grader who competes in the dash and jump events. She and her teammates have participated in a variety of meets both indoors and outdoors so far this season.
After the meet in Minnesota the Firebirds will compete at Palymra - Eagle against Rock Valley opponents. The Firebirds ara coached by Steve Fuerst and Steven Williams.
