Coach Doug Maughan's Sun Prairie Cardinals won the 10 team 2011 Big '8' Conference Meet with 124.5 points to host runnerup Janesville Craig's 99 points. Middleton and Madison La Follette finished in 3rd and 4th.

The Lancers from Madison La Follette opened the meet by wining the 4x8 in 9:43.12. Teammembers above L-R: Leigha Hodge, Megan Meiller, Sara Monson, and anchor Kayla Diffee.

The regents from Madison West finished the race in 9:43.91 as La Follette barely edged out their Madison rival, Both La Follette and West broke the old record set by Middleton in 1998 [9:44.04-Renee Acker, Kelly Vick, Liz Reusser, and Casey Schwartz].
