Blue Jay Invitational

Thursday, April 7, 2011 at Cambridge High School. Results




On a dry, cold and cloudy afternoon D2 and D3 teams competed at the annual Blue Jay Invitatonal held at Cambridge High School. The Sugar River Raiders from Belleview-New Glarus outpointed seven other teams to win the Blue Jay Meet. Athletes were creative in staying warm between their events.

Jefferson's Megan Linse [above left] won the 100m HH event. Alexis Hanson [Sugar River, above far right] won the 100m and 200m dash events. Jefferson dash athlete Maddie Riehle [above right, 2nd from right] was second in the 100m dash.

Coach Nodolf is now retired but still helps at track meets in Cambridge.

The 'Tiders' from Edgerton won the 4x1

Sugar River won the 4x2 relay. Teammembers above L-R: Victoria Oortgiesen, Megan Neperud, Emily Diaz, and anchor Alexis Hanson.

Hanson is pictured [left] anchoring the Raiders 4x2. The Raiders also won the 4x4 with Emily Diaz, Alex Walters, Savanna Atkins, and Katie Schmitz.
