John Reed's photographs give track fans a look at a few of the outstanding performers at the D2 Sectional held at Colby High School. Ali Olson a junior from Bloomer won the 800m run in 2:19.65. Rachel Sudbury a junior from Tomahawk was second in 2:21.61. Northwestern sophomore Jordan Johnson [not pictured] was third and Monica Emerson a senior from Somerset finished 4th. Left: Andrea Ostenso a sophomore from Ladysmith finished 1st in the 1600m and 3200m runs. Her sister Victoria also ran in the 1600m [6th] and together they made up half of the Ladysmith 4x8. Raquel Ebbe [right] a junior from Nekoosa had a monster day on the track and in the field. She placed first in the 200 [25.26, 25.10 in prelims] and 400m [58.13] and she won both the horizontal jumps [LJ- 17' 04.50, TJ 36' 00.00]. |
