Thursday, May 12, 2011: Some of the dash athletes from the100m, 200m, and 400m All-Division Dash Lists




As the season winds down the Honor Roll takes a look at some of the dash athletes who have made their presence known on the 100m, 200m, and 400m dash lists. In the first section are pictured 100m and 200m dash athletes.


Dezerea Bryant a Milwaukee Bradley Technical senior who holds the State Records in the 100m and 200m dash events has shown no signs of letting up as she is on the top of the 100m[11.50] and 200m [23.59] lists.


Above left and center: Senior Tahje Whitley from Milwaukee Bradley Technical is #2 on the 100m and 200m lists and is the leader in the 400m dash event. Above right: Harland Arrowhead senior Heather Bong is #3 on the 100m and 200m dash lists.


Above left and center: Senior Eileen Gehring from Madison Edgewood. Gehring is the defending D2 100m and 400m dash champion. At the Madison City Meet on Tuesday, May 10, she broke a long standing 400m dash record of 58.0 co-held by Sue Tallard ['74, Madison Memorial] and Ellen Brewster ['75, Madison West] by blazing to a new record time of 57.90 ['FAT'].
