2011 East Troy Invitational

East Troy Invitational At East Troy High School, Friday, April 29, 2011. Results

Beloit Turner, Big Foot, Clinton, Delavan-Darien, East Troy, Jefferson, Kenosha Bradford, Kettle Moraine Lutheran, Martin Luther, Saint Thomas More, West Allis Central, and Westosha Central finally had a rain-free night in which to compete. The weather was ideal for a meet.

Track fans broke out their sun glasses and enjoyed a break in the Wisconsin Winter as 12 teams competed at East Troy. Host East Troy outpointed Clinton to win the team title at the East Troy Sports Complex.

Start of the 1600m run

Abigail Bullmore [above left and center, Kenosha Bradford] won the 1600m run. She also won the 32k race. East Troy's Meghan Valentine [above center] was second. West Allis Central's Katie Larson was 3rd in the 1600m run.

Junior Karlee Schneiss from Kettle Moraine Lutheran won the 100m HH and 300m LH events. She is shown above [right] in the HH finals. Jefferson's Megan Linse [above left] was second in the 100m HH and third in the 300m LH.

Greendale Martin Luther's Kelly Flynn [above and right] won both horizontal jump events [17' 00 in the LJ and 35' 02 in the TJ].

Martin Luther's Lauren Bratonja [above and right in the LJ] was 2nd in the TJ and 7th in the LJ.

Above Kettle Moraine Lutheran's Meghan Niemann [above] jumped 5' 02 to win the HJ event

East Troy nosed out Clinton [1:50.49 to 1:50.55] to win the 4x2 relay race. Trojan runners above L-R: Claire Loth, Bryzena Santos, Frankie Morris, and Alee Schahczinski.
