One of the main purposes of this website is to share with viewers how special track and field athletes are. Ask any teacher how many of their students reach their potential and the answer is not the percent you would like to hear. However in track and field athletes constantly strive to reach their potential. And that is not easy. Totally stretching your body and mind in order to reach a new 'PR' physically hurts and leaves your mind in a dazed state. The D1 300m finals [above] at the 2010 State Meet was an example of athletes reaching their potential. Win or lose track fans appreciate the efforts of our young athletes who strive to put their best effort forward for their schools and communities-DF.
