Kat Keller: New Richmond Dash Athlete

John Reed's photographs [above and below] showing Junior Kat Keller of the New Richmond Tigers holding off Freshman Aimee Rice-Strand and Rachael Mickelson both of Osceola in the 100m dash Friday at the River Falls Invite. Keller won in 12.65 with Rice-Strand 2nd [13.09] and Mickelson 3rd in 13.38.

Kat Keller has made her presence known on the Top 20 Lists of the Honor Roll. As of Sunday, May 1 she is listed in the All Division listings in three events.

She is in the Top Ten of the 100m dash, the Top 5 of the 200m dash, and the Top 10 of the 400m dash.

As a ninth grader Keller went to State as a member of the New Richmond 4x2 relay teams.

Last season at the State Meet as a sophomore Keller placed 8th in the D1 100m dash, 4th in the 200m dash, and was a member of the Tigers 4x2 which placed 8th in the 4x2 finals.

The New Richmond Tigers are a D1 school that competes in the Middle Border Conference against Amery, Baldwin-Woodville, Durand, Ellsworth, Osceola, Prescott, and Somerset.
