Known Meet Records: Week 8 
April 30 to May 5, 2012
Algoma sophomore Kennedy Blahnik broke the Seymour Invitational shot put record set by Jessica Maroszek [Seymour, 44' 03.50] with a throw of 46' 11.50 at the 32nd Annual Seymour Invitational on May 5, 2012.

Above left: Valerie Thames a junior at Milwaukee Riverside broke Michelle Garner's 2011 record [45.44] by winning the 300m LH in 45.11 at the Myrhum at Arrowhead. Garner who also broke her record in the same race was second in 45.16.
Senior Deysha Smith-Jenkins [above right] of Whitefish Bay Dominican set a record in the 200m dash with a time of 24.89 at the Myrhum at Arrowhead on May 4, 2012. Her time broke the 2009 record of Heather Bong [Arrowhead, 24.93]
Senior Molly Seidel [left] of University Lake School set a record in the 3200m run with a time of 10:21.97 at the Myrhum at Arrowhead on May 4, 2012. This broke the old record of 10:47.81 set by Claire Maduza from Whitefish Bay in 2006.
Cami Gilson [right] vaulted one foot higher than she did in 2011 when she set the record in the pole vault of 11' 06.
This year the senior again wrote her name into the record books of the Myrhum with a vault of 12' 06.
The Milwaukee Riverside 4x4 set a new reocord by racing to a time of 4:00.55 at the Myrhum at Arrowhead on May 4, 2012. This broke the oldest record in the Myrhum Meets record book. In 1984 Schneider, Dobiash, Bertrand, and Logan from Kettle Moraine posted a 4:03.7.
Riverside team members consisted of two sets of sisters: Helen Thames [above left], Angel Malone [above center], Crystal Malone [above right], and Valerie Thames [left].
At the River Valley Meet held on Friday, May 4, 2012 the Boscobel 4x4 broke the Lancaster record of 4:14.30 set in 1997 by posting a 4:13.68. Team members from the Bulldogs were Shelby Davis [above left at 2012 W/TFA], Keely Foley, Hanna Toye, and anchor Kalia Moore [above right at WIAA 2011]

At the Knights under The Stars Meet at Appleton Xavier Grace Meuer [right] from D3 Saint Mary's Springs set a 3200m record of 11:26.80 breaking the 2010 record of 11:47.00 set by Mackenzie Weber.
At the same meet Delaney Sinnen [frar right] from Random Lake broke Yolanda Hayes-Barnes old record of 5' 00 by leaping 5' 02.

At the Knights under The Stars Meet at Oshkosh Lourdes Sabrina Wolter [above at 2011 WIAA] from Apleton Xavier vaulted 11' 06 to break the record of 8' 06 set by Anna Harris in 2011
At the Knights Under The Stars Meet at Oshkosh Lourdes the Xavier 4x1 broke their own record of 51.58 set in 2011 by racing to a time of 51.37. Team members above center clockwise from top left: Kelsey Worachek [10], Paige Van Asten [12], Lilian Johnson [11], and Kate Weyenberg [12].
Above right: Xavier sprinter Kelsey Worachek set two records at the Knights Under The Stars Meet. Her time of 11.99 in the 100m broke the 13.02 old record set in 2011 by Yolanda Hates-Barnes. In the 200m dash Worachek sped to a 26.00 clocking to break the 2011 record of 26.81 set by Hayes-Barnes.
At the Knights Under The Stars Meet Alison Bos [left] from D2 Freedom set a new 300m LH record with a time of 47.02 breaking Karina Elford's record of 50.61 set in 2011.
D2's Morgan Yeska [right] from D3 Wild Rose set a record in the 100m HH with a clocking of 16.54. This broke the 2011 record of 16.73 set by Alexia Horstme.
Wild Rose TJ athlete Danielle Muntner [far right] set a record with a jump of 32' 09.00 breaking the 2011 record of 32' 01.75 set by Sami Grebe.

Taylor Weis [right] from Kettle Moraine set a TJ record when she broke the 2005 record set by Kayla Carter [35' 02,.50] with a jump of 35' 08.50.
Waukesha West dash athlete Hannah Rohde set a 100m dash record 12.36 breaking former Waukesha West athlete Jenna Sitte's 2006 record of 12.86.
Rohde was not through as at the end of the meet she broke the 200m dash record of 25.90 also set by Sitte [2004] by racing to a time of 25.20.
At the La Crescent [MN] 'Old Blue Eyes' Meet La Crosse Logan senior hurdler Amber Sanderson [below at the W/TFA 2012 Meet] set a new 300m LH record with a time of 45.24.
The Tomahawk quartet [below L-R] consisted of Rachel Sudbury, Kellan Flynn, Marlee Kiander, Emily Miller and set the record with a time of 4:09.85.

At the Knights Under The Stars Meet the D2 Freedom 4x4 and 4x8 relay teams set new records. In the 4x4 with Alyssa Hofacker, Jenny Miller, Lauren Peters, and anchor Alison Bos Freedom broke the Oshkosh Lourdes record of 4:19.48 in 2011 by posting a 4:15.11. In the 4x8 the Freedom team of Alison Bos, Tayler Woeltz, Lauren Peters, and anchor Liz Bloy ran a 9:45.44 to break the old record of 9:54.94 Freedom set in 2011.
