Above: Kennedy Blahnik won the Gold Medal in the SP and discus events 4 consecutive years. She is one of only four girl athletes to acheive this. The other athletes to achieve 4 wins in the same 2 events were Joanna Schultz [Homen: 2003-06 200m and 400m], Molly Seidel [University Lake School: 2009-12 1600m and 3200m run], and Bonnie Draxler [Wrigthstown: 2011-2014 400m long dash and PV].
Kennedy Blahnik had plenty of support at the 12014 State Meet: Some of the Blahnik relatives who attended the meet are pictured below. Other relatives are missing as they had to leave Saturday night when the meet was extended because of weather in order to catch their plane flights home.

Kennedy Blahnik [right] broke the discus record [154' 03] that she set in 2013 with a throw of 161' 05. She posted this mark on her first throw in the discus trials. Video of record throw.
Algoma senior Kennedy Blahnik [right] won the D3 SP Title for the 4th year in a row. Blahnik has been a fixture in the throws at the State Meet and her other win the discus gave her 8 Gold Medals in 4 years putting her in an exclusing club of 4 girl athletes who won the same 2 events in their 4 years of competition.
