Stoughton won the 22 team meet by edging East Troy 71.50 to 70. Jefferson's Mikaela Grant was named the Girls Athlete of the Meet.

Above 55m dash athletes L-R: Monica Litman [2nd, Catholic Central], Ashlin Lafond [3rd, Brookfield Academy], Lauren Rusch [4th, Clinton] and Kendra Halverson [7th, Stoughton]. Rockford Christian [Illinois] dash athlete Payton Jones took first in 7.54.


Above 55m dash athletes L-R: Destiny Wash [Beloit Turner], Makala Teske [6th, Mauston], and Brianna Ling [Monona Grove] and Hannah Posick [8th, Stoughton]. Makala Teske's twin sister Mariah was 5th in the finals. Mauston had a quick turnaround as they hosted a meet Saturday at UW-La Crosse.

The East Troy 4x8 won that event in 10:32.41. Teammembers above L-R: Assistant coach Lori Crandall, Charlotte Plehn, Erin Parr, Carly Atchison, anchor Katie Hodges, and assistant coach Alyssa [Duncan] Nassman. Atchison who missed the 2014 season with an injury is now back running. She ran a strong leg on the Trojan 4x8.

The Mauston 4x2 jumped to the top of the Week 1 D2 HR list in the 4x2 by posting a 1:51.97 to best 23 other teams at the Nelson Daniels Classic.

2015 UW-Whitewater Nelson Daniels Classic Small Schools Track Events


Head boys and girls cross country and track and field coach at Cedar Grove-Belgium Les Paul and his daughter Lily. Lily won the 3200m race in 12:10.87. At the 2014 State XC Meet Lily placed 19th.
