2006 TFA Indoor Track And Field Association Indoor Championships

Ashley Beutler, sophomore from Belleville-New Glarus, displayed a tremendous kick in the last 100 meters to beat a talented field of 1600m runners. Beutler, shown at the finish, had a time of 5:08.80. Above: Belleville-NG coach Dan Schettler and Ashley. Nicole Burr of Onalaska was second in 5:09.62 while Jocelyn Burke of Madison Edgewood posted a 5:11.43 for third place.

800m runners: Kari Baltutis [L] of Wisconsin Lutheran was sixth in 2:24.95. The winner of the 2006 W/TFA 800m was Karen Greuel [R]. Greuel recorded a 2:23.29. The Madison La Follette senior is also on the Honor Roll in the 1600m. Not pictured: Sarah Sudbury of Tomahawk was second in the 800m in 2:23.93. Laura Cook a junior from Rosholt was third in 2:23.97. Laura is pictured above center with her father Todd and brother Robert. Robert competed for the Rosholt boys in the 800m at the Boys W/TFA meet held before the girls meet.
