Outstanding Performances
At The Crusader Classic

Sophomore Kaya Senaya [L] of Brown Deer long jumped 18' 10.75 to win first place in a talented long jump competition.

Runnerup was senior Laquita Brazil [R] of Milwaukee King with a leap of 18' 06.50. Brazil also won the triple jump with an Honor Roll leading 39' 02.00.

Senaya also won the 200m in 24.95. The ideal weather and the outstanding performances by the athletes and teams involved made the 12th annual Crusader Classic held at Catholic Memorial in Waukesha a special event for spectators.

Below is Kai Senaya [L] who is the twin sister of Kaya. Kai is a shot put and discus thrower.

Kaya Senaya long jumping 17' 2 in the finals. On her next jump she fouled and then on her last attempt in finals leaped 18' 10.75.

Laquita Brazil is shown on her last jump when she jumped 18' 06.50.

Veronika Jerikova shown in the shot put event won both the shot [ 38' 08.50] and the discus [120' 08.50]. Jerikova is a senior at Kenosha Tremper High School.
