Josey Bellin is a senior from Weyauwega-Fremont. Josey has run track all four years. She qualified for state in the 1600 as a sophomore and finished 10th. In her junior year she competed with the 1600 relay along with Kaitlyn Kohl, Vaugn Schneider, Christi Beilfuss, Kristin Van Lyssel and Jess Pankow.

As a junior she finished first in the Central Wisconsin Cross Country meet and helped Weyauwega - Fremont win the conference title. She took 11th in the D-2 WIAA State Cross Country race as a junior.

In 2005 Bellin was the individual Central Wisconsin champ again and also led the WFHS Lady Indians to another conference title. She was also the Weyauwega-Fremont D2 Cross Country Sectional Champ, and then placed 4th behind Claire Maduzza from Shorewood, Jocelyn Burke of Madison Edgewood and Ashley Beutler of New Glarus-Monticello at the 2005 D2 State WIAA Cross Country Meet. Bellin ran a 14:52.8 at State and was the 11th fastest girl in the state, all divisions.

The runner in the green jersey is junior Bethany Easker from Wittenberg-Birnamwood who finished second in 5:31.22. In the 2005 WIAA State Meet at La Crosse Bethany finished fourth in the D2 3200m in 11:27.79.

Josey is now listed on the Week 7 Honor roll in the 800m, 1600m and 3200m events. At the Waupaca County Meet [ Go to Prime Time Timing ], Saturday. April 29, Weyauwega-Fremont placed 2nd behind Clintonville. The 'W-F' 4X8 relay team of Josey Bellin, Jess Pankow, Kristin Van Lyssel and Brenda Paider just missed the meet record by .45 seconds. In the 1600m Bellin won in 5:16.63 which set a Waupaca County record. Also, in the 3200m Bellin set a school record and a meet record with a time of 11:30.26.
