Shorewood senior Claire Maduza [L] is shown winning the mile in 5:19.6. Maduza was 2nd in the 3200m and finished 4th in the 1600m at the 2005 State WIAA Track and Field Meet. Maduza is shown above with her coach Bill Haury. Mr Haury is Dean of Students at Shorewood Intermediate School and has coached Claire since she was in seventh grade. Finals of the 60yd dash [L-R]:Sophomore Caneesha Smittick of Oak Creek won with a HHT of 7.14. Akaila Cabell Racine Case junior was second in 7.17. Calli Burkart of Wauwatosa West was fifth in 7.59 and Katie Duchow of Hartland Arrowhead was third in 7.26.
