Molly Seidel [above left] a senior at University Lake School [Hartland] and Allie Fons a sophomore at Franklin HS competed for the Midwest Team at the National Foot Locker XC Meet held in San Diego. Seidel emerged as champion with a time of 17:22 on the 5 Km course laid out at Balboa Park. Fons finished 15th and helped the Midwest Team to a first place finish. Picture above taken by Terry Fons

Molly Seidel won her fourth straight D3 State XC Championship with a time of 13:39.59 on October 29, 2011. The University Lake School runner is the defending D3 1600m and 3200m champion. In 2011 she set the State D3 records in the 1600m [4:51.54] and 3200m [10:33.15] races. Seidel is currently ranked #3 on both the 1600m and 3200m All-Time Wisconsin list compiled by Mike Krugel. Seidel has made an oral commitment to Notre Dame. |

Allie Fons [above #2, in the 3200m run at the 2011 State Meet] placed first [13:56.48] at the 2011 D1 XC State Meet held October 29, 2011. At the 2011 State Track and Field Meet she placed third in the 3200m run [10:53.88]. Her State Meet 3200m time put her on the All-Time Top 50 list in the 3200m.. |
