A capacity crowd watched the second year of Wheelchair events at the WIAA State Meet. Oconomowoc won the team competition. Final scores were: 1) Oconomowoc 30, 2) Fort Atkinson 26, 3) Janesville Craig 14, 4) Waukesha South 10, and 5) Franklin 5. More important than the scores was the spirit of competition that the wheelchair athletes displayed as they battled the same high temperatures that the other athletes endured to produce outstanding results.
