Dezerea Bryant Impresses At Clemson

Milwaukee Bradley Technical graduate Dezerea Bryant helped Clemson to the 2012 ACC Indoor and Outdoor titles

Dezrea Bryant is a 2011 graduate of Milwaukee Bradley Technical High School. Bryant a two time Wisconsin Track and Field Athlete of the Year led the Trojans from Bradley Technical to three straight D1 State Championships.

At Clemson University [South Carolina] Bryant helped the Tigers to the Atlantic Coast Conference 2012 Indoor and Outdoor Championships.

The United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association recognized Bryant as a First-Team All-American in the 60m dash and 200m dash during the indoor season and as a First-Team All-American in the 4x100 Relay and Second-Team All-American in the 200m dash during the outdoor season.

Bryant was a member of Clemson's 4x1 relay team which now holds the All-Time Record at Clemson.

Because of her outstanding freshman year at Clemson Bryant was named the ACC Freshman of the Year for both the indoor and outdoor seasons.

At the IAAF World Championships held in Barcelona, Spain, during the summer of 2012 Bryant finished third [with the same time as the second place finisher] in the 200m dash. She also was a member of the USA team that won the 4x1 at the Barcelona Meet.

Bryant returns for her sophomore season at Clemson where she is majoring in nursing.
