Class of 2012-13: Marquette Recruits 
The Marquette University track and field program has announced the addition of 21 student-athletes for the 2012-13 school year, head coach Bert Rogers announced Monday.
"I am very excited about this year's class," Rogers said. "It is loaded with people that should make an immediate impact on BIG EAST competition. This group is definitely one of the most talented and well-rounded recruiting classes we have had in the last several years. My staff and I are looking forward to working with them, and helping them develop to the outstanding potential that they have."

"Kellie comes to us from Two Rivers High School where we’ve had two very successful former runners in Amy Erickson and Brianna Dahm. Amy has been Kellie’s coach for the last four years and did a great job of coaching Kellie to a second-place finish in the 3,200 at the 2012 WIAA Division 2 State Championships. Kellie will be a valuable addition to our program as she competes in multiple events on the track."

"Molly has a family connection to MU track & field as her sister is former MU All-American and school record holder, Michaela Courtney. Like Michaela, Molly had a very successful high school career, especially during her senior season. She was the Wisconsin Division 2 state champion in cross country as well as the 1,600. Molly ended her high school career as one of the fastest prep girls all-time in the state of Wisconsin. Her 800 time of 2:11.48 ranks seventh and her 1,600 time of 4:54.81 ranks her 16th all-time."

"Sarah also has a family connection to MU. Both of Sarah’s parents went to MU and her father also attended Marquette Law. Sarah was a state medalist at the Wisconsin Division 1 cross country championships and she also led her 4x800 team to a third-place finish at the state track and field championships. I believe Sarah will make immediate contributions in the longer events here at MU. She’s not afraid to tackle the 5k and 10k on the track. Not only is Sarah an outstanding athlete, she was also valedictorian of her senior class."-
