The guide cart prepares to take off at the start of the girls varsity race. High school and middle school results were recorded for 1,098 girl runners.

35 varsity girls teams and 248 runners competed in the varsity girls race. Arrowhead won the meet with 38 points. Arrowhead was followed by Neenah, Madison West, Dodgeville-Mineral Point and Middleton. In the start pictured above Destiny Garza [SR, 94th, MacArthur HS, Houston, TX] and Jackie Dubnicka [JR, 8th, Arrowhead] take the early lead.

Neenah finished in second at the Midwest Invitational. Team members above L-R: Austin Anderson, Jessie Laabs, Alison Parker, Jessica Parker, Rachel Resch, Claire Knaus, and Jennifer Parker. Neenah was ranked #2 after Week 4. The Neenah team left for the meet at 5:30 in the morning. Traveling to Janesville they passed through some rain and even a snow shower. However the local weather was idea for running with the clouds giving way to sunshine late in the morning.

Dodgeville - Mineral Point was ranked #2 in Division 2 after Week 4 of the XC season. Team members above L-R: Megan Hottmann, Mary Hanson, Kennedy Stumpf, Mairin Cahill, Brittany Rhyner, Anna Eisenzimmer, Emily Philipps, and Hannah Owens. The team had the highest finish of any other D2-3 teams at the meet.
