2012 Rock Valley Conference Meet 
Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Walworth Big Foot High School. Results
Prior to the start of the finals at the 2012 Rock Valley Meet athletes, coaches, parents and others in attendence had a moment of silence to reflect on the ultimate sacrifice that Cpl. Benjamin Neal a 2009 graduate of Rock Valley Conference school Orfordville Parkview made when he was killed while serving our country in the Kandahar region of Afghanistan.
North Division schools East Troy, Edgerton, Evansville, Jefferson, McFarland and Whitewater along with South Division schools Big Foot, Brodhead, Clinton, Palmyra-Eagle, and Beloit Turner competed at Big Foot High School. McFarland edged out East Troy 151 to 145 to win the Conference Meet.
Below are just a few of the highlights from the meet.
The Rock Valley conference has a very strong group of throwers. Three of those throwers are pictured above and below L-R: Senior Molly Griep of Whitewater won the SP [42' 10.00]. Senior Alyssa Lueck from Big Foot was second in the SP [42' 06.00] while Brodhead-Juda thrower Heather Clankie also a senior was third in the SP [41' 00.05]. In the discus event Clankie was first 135' 02, Griep 3rd, and Lueck 4th.

In the HH preliminaries Linse broke one the oldest records in the RVC. She recorded a 15.65 in the prelims to erase the old record of 15.76 set by Jess Ellis from Big Foot in 1992.
Later in the meet Linse won the 300m LH [48.50].

The Evansville 4x8 set a new record by posting a 9:58.65. This broke the old record of 10:05.42 set by East Troy [Meghan Valentine, Katie Islab, Taylor Balcerowski, and Alyssa Duncan] in 2010.

Above: The McFarland 4x2 was timed in 1:48.65 [seed time 1:48.64] to set a new record. Their performance broke an old record [1:48.84] set by Milton in 1981. Relay runners from McFarland above L-R: Katie Pike, Kaylee Dimeo, Krista Fedor, and anchor Michelle Witt. Fedor won the 200m dash later in the meet with a time of 26.22. Witt also anchored the McFarland 4x1 to a win [51.44]. The McFarland 4x1 group consisted of Evelyn Granados, Dimeo, Fedor, and Witt. McFarland won the final event of the meet the 4x4 in 4:17.12.
