Middle Border Conference Competitors
Friends and competitors from the Middle Border Conference
Aimee Rice-Strand [above left] a junior from Osceola and Natalie Broome [above right] a senior from Somerset have become on the track rivals but off the track friends through their competition in the Middle Border Conference . Each of the athletes is a star sprinter and anchor on the sprint relays for their teams. Rice-Strand and Broome are pictured above at the All-American Invite held at UW-River Falls on April 6th. Rice-Strand won the 55m dash while Broome won the 200m dash at that meet.

AD's were kept busy either cancelling or re-scheduling meets during the week of April 8-13. Wisconsin's weather with a mixture of cold, rain, and snow has made outdoor competition a challenge against the elements.
