The Greater Metro Conference consists of D1 schools: Brookfield Central, Brookfield East, Divine Saviour Holy Angels [Girls only], Hamilton [Sussex], Marquette [Boys only], Menomonee Falls, Wauwatosa East, West Allis Central, and West Allis Nathan Hale. The Lancers pf Brookfield Central won thier sixth straight Greater Metro Conference Indoor championship by scoring 184 1/2 points. The Spartans of Brookfield East came in second while Menomonee Falls was third.

Meet Records were set in the 800m and 1600m running events and the high jump and pole vault field events.

Brookfield Central junior Elizabeth Flatley [left and above in lap 1 of the 800m] set a new GMC indoor record in the 800m run with a clocking of 2:21.15. This broke the old record of 2:24.01 set by Brookfield Central's Hannah Trasser in 2011.

As a junior West Allis Central vaulter Nicole Larson tied the GMC record in the PV set by Kaitlyn Genthe [Menomonee Falls, 2006, 10' 06]. This year Larson set a new record with a vault of 11' 06 [above]. Below right is a sequence from an earlier successful attempt by Larson. Kelsey Kazmierczak [Brookfield Central, below left] was 2nd in the PV event.


Brookfield Central's Elizabeth Flatley [left] went out fast and kept up an aggressive pace in setting a new conference record of 5:14.52 in the 1600m run. As of Wednesday, March 27, Flatley is the Division 1 leader in the 800m, 1600m, and 3200m running envents on the Honor Roll.

Wauwatosa East's Natalie Schudrowitz [above center] who finished 2nd had set the 1600m record at the 2012 GMC Indoor Meet [5:21.05]. Brookfield East's Rachel Werking [above right] was third.

Brookfield Central sophomore Chisom Obasih [left] won the LJ with a distance of 16' 08.25.

Alisha Harper [above center, Brookfield East] was 2nd in the LJ. Aerial Holt [above right] from Menomonee Falls was 3rd in the LJ. Natalie Wissing [below right] from Divine Savior Holy Angels was 4th in the LJ.


Hannah Weinberg-Kinsey [Wauwatosa East] set the GMC Indoor Record in the HJ [5' 05] in 2009. Sophomore Khadiya Hollingsworth tied the GMC indoor HJ conference record with a height of 5' 05. Hollingsworth [above right] is shown discussing a successful jump with teammate Natalie Mussatto [8th in HJ].

Hollingsworth progressed from 4' 10, 5' 00, 5' 01, 5' 03 [jump pictured on the right], and 5' 05.

Menomonee Falls won the 4x240m relay event

Relay runners for Menomonee Falls were Jessica Robinson [left] and above L-R: Aerial Holt, Haley Precia, and anchor Tori Green.


Left: Mikayla Roberson [shown in the 400m long dash] had a big night at the GMC Meet recording Honor Roll performances in three events.

Robertson was the champion in the 400m long dash [1:02.09], the 200m dash [27.20] and the TJ [36' 09.00].


Above L-R: Throw athletes Jessica Meichtry and Debbie Entzminger from Brookfield Central took the top two places at he GMC Meet. Entzminger threw the shot 35' 10.00 to win the indoor conference SP Championship.
