Madison West's Amelia Barczi To Attend The University Of Minnesota
Above L-R: 2011 Big 8 Conference Meet. Amelia Barczi is a recruited walkon who will attend the University of Minnesota. Kansas Relays 2012. Barczi is a 4 yr letter winner in both swimming and track. She currently holds school records for the 200 yd medley relay (swimming) and the 3200m relay (track).
Barczi is a WIAA state swimming qualifier (2009,2010, 2011). High School Academic All American (swimming), member NHS and Spanish Honor Society. Barczi is the Madison West Pool record holder inthe 200 yd medley relay and received All State Honorable Mention (200yd medley relay, 2011).

2010: Big 8 Conference Meet - Champion in the 800m run and runner on the champion 4x8 which set the Madison West school record in the 4x8 relay.
2011: Big 8 Conference Meet - 2nd in 800m run and runner on 2nd place 4x8. Ran on the West 4x8 which set a new school record.
2012: Big 8 Conference Meet - Stess fracture, Did not compete at conference meet.
2010 WIAA State Meet Championships: Anchor on State qualifying 4x8.
2011 WIAA State Meet Championships: Anchor on State qualifying 4x8 and 17th in 800m run.
2012 WIAA State Meet Championships: DNC [stress fracture].
