Dezerea Bryant Wins The 2014 D1 NCAA Indoor 200m Championship

Former Milwaukee Bradley Technical athlete Dezerea Bryant and the Wisconsin High School Record Holder in the 100m and 200m dash events added to her laurels by winning the 2014 D1 NCAA 200m Indoor Championships held in Albuquerque, NM. Bryant who started her college career at Clemson now competes at the University of Kentucky which is coached by Edrick Floreal. Bryant helped her team to its highest point total ever in an NCAA Indoor Meet competition

Bryant who began her running career under Coach Ray Hale of the Milwaukee Mustangs Track Club set records in the 100m and 200m dash events while running for Wisconsin Track And Field Hall of Fame Coach Ken Williams at Milwaukee Bradley Technical High School.

Bryant who has one of the fastest times in the World for this year in the 200m posted a 22.69 in winning the 200m championship and becoming the first University of Kentucky woman to win a dash championship. The 200m time was a University of Kentucky school record. Bryant also finished 2nd in the 60m dash event at the NCAA Championships [she qualified in 7.17].
