Afterr setting the 400m record Brittany Davis came back in the 800m run and posted a time of 2:19.54 [2:19.25 adjusted HHT] to set a new Meet 800m record. The old record was held by former Darlington athlete Abby Wedig in 2007 with a time of 2:26.4. Davis was voted Female Athlete of the Meet.
