Week 1: March 17 - March 22 Known Meet And School Records Reported To Wisconsin Track Online


Cashton junior Betsy Schreier [left] who is the defending D3 TJ Champion set a new TJ record at the Tri-State Small School Meet held at UW-Platteville on Saturday, March 22.

The old record was held by Susanna Craven from Belmont who posted a jump of 34' 00.50 in 2000.

Schreier had a jump of 36' 05.25 to set the new meet record. She is currently #1 in the All-Division Week 1 Honor Roll.

2013 D1 Silver Medal winner in the LJ Gabby Beauvais [right] from Monona Grove broke former Brown Deer athlete Kaya Senaya's record in the long jump at the Nelson Daniel Classic Small School Meet held at UW-Whitewater on Friday, March 21.

Senaya had jumped 17' 07.00 in 2006 to set the old record. Beauvais had a jump in the trials of 18' 08.00 to establish the new LJ record. She is currently #1 on the All-Division LJ Honor Roll list for Week 1.

Menomonee Inidan School

Sophomore Ania Smith from D3 Menomonee Indian High School broke a school shot put record set in 1992.

Tasha Cleveland had set the record in 1992 with a throw of 36' 7.00.

Smith broke that record with a put of 38' 04.00 at the Northland Pines Indoor Meet on March 20.

Followup: At the Antigo Indoor Meet held on Monday, March 31, Ania Smith again set a new school record.

Smith set the new school record with a winning distance of 41' 06.50, Her throw put her in second on the All-Division SP list as of Tuesday, April 1.

Smith is shown on the right at the Antigo Meet.

The Rapid Force Indoor Invitational hosted by Wisconsin Lutheran High School at UW-Parkside had a number of outstanding performances that set new meet records.

Above left: Brookfield Central senior Elizabeth Flatley broke the 3200m run record she set in 2013 [11:02.91] She smashed her own record by recording a 10:38.06. This time puts Flatley at #1 on the Week 1 3200m run All-Division Honor Roll list.

Above 2nd from left: Kenosha Tremper senior Danielle Riggins broke the 200m record set by Waukesha West's Hannah Rohde in 2013. Rohde had posted a 26.14. Riggins blazed to a time of 25.17 in establishing the new record. Riggins is #1 on the Week 1 200m dash All-Division list.

Above 2nd from right: Ninth grader Camille Davre from Whitefish Bay ran to a time of 5:10.47 in the 1600m run in breaking Elizabeth Flatley's 2013 Meet Record of 5:11.77. Davre's 1600m time moved her to #2 on the 1600m All-Division Week 1 Honor Roll list.

Above right: Arrowhead senior Jackie Dubnicka broke the 800m record set by Talia Spiegelberg from Wisconsin Lutheran in 2013 [2:26.11]. Dubnicka recorded a 2:25.98 which moved her to #2 on the 800m All-Division Week 1 Honor Roll list

Above left: The Muskego 4x4 broke the Waukesha West 4x4's record of 4:18.01 set in 2013 by running to a time of 4:13.05. Muskego 4x4 runners were Morgan Marek [above 2nd from left], Morgan Kath [above left], Jenna Lederman, and Jamie Kvasnicka.

Above 2nd from right: Micaela Creighton from South Milwaukee had held the old LJ record of 17' 08.50. Junior Jerica Kotarak [#898 at the 2013 WIAA State Meet] from Muskego broke that record with a jump of 17' 09.50.

Above right: Muskego junior Morgan Kath jumped 5' 03.00 in the HJ to break the old HJ record of 5' 02.00 set by Allysa Parker from Oak Creek in 2013.

Muskego's 4x8 record of 10:41.05 was broken by Arrowhead. Arrowhead posted a 10:19.24 to set a new record. Arrowhead runners were L-R: Jackie Dubnicka, Rachelle McDowell, Payton Wesley, and anchor Morgan Hobbs.

Left: Wauwatosa West dash athlete sophomore Azya McLin tied the 55m dash record by recording a 7.26 in winning that event at the Nelson Daniel Classic Large School Meet held at UW-Whitewater on Saturday, March 22.

McLin tied the record set by Kellion Gordon [Niles West, IL] set in 2010.

Right: At the Wisconsin Lutheran Rapid Force Indoor Meet pole vault athlete Taylor Amann a senior from Arrowhead vaulted 11' 00.

Her performance tied the record set by Wisconsin Lutheran vaulter Taylor Corkum in 2013.

At the Rapid Force Indoor Meet Racine Case throw athlete Mileesha Hamilton threw the SP 37' 08.75 to break the old record of 35' 05.00 set in 2012 by Debbie Entzminger from Brookfield Central.
