Senior Danielle Riggins [left] was dominating in the 100m HH, 100m dash, and 200m dash events.

Riggins is #1 on the D1 and All-Division Honor Roll Lists for those events with times of 11.71 in the 100m dash [5/20, Southeast Conference Meet] and 24.02 in the 200m dash and 13.89 in the 100m HH events at the Janesville Parker Sectional. The 13.89 is equal to the State Record [WIAA records can only be set at the State Meet].

Riggins did not have the benefit of a tail wind in the 100m events as the wind was from the east on a straighaway that was north-south.

Riggins helped Tremper to the sectional team title as the Trojans scored 96 points to edge Stoughton who scored 90 points.

In a D1 Sectional the top 3 finishers advance to State. The extra qualifiers announced by the WIAA included only one athlete [in the 1600m run].
