Brookfield East's Alisha Harper To Attend The University Of Wisconsin Milwaukee

Alisha Harper has signed a NLI to compete for the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. In her freshman year of high school she was voted Team Newwcomer of the Year. As a sophomore Harper was voted team MVP and was a member of the All-State team. During her junior year Harper was a Milwaukee Journal Sentinel track and Field Preview Athlete To Watch. In the Journal Sentinels End of the Season Honors she acheived All Area Honorable Mention in the horizonbtal jumps. Also she was voted team MVP for the second year in a row.

Over the past three years Harper has averaged 24 points per Greater Metro Conference meet with eight 1st place finishes, 14 2nd place finishes and four 3rd place finishes. Harper has broken 4 school records: Twice in the TJ [37' 08.25 as a sophomore at the WIAA State Meet and 37' 09.25 as a junior at the GMC relay meet].

She broke the school record in the LJ with a distance of 17' 09..25 as a junior at the conference relays. In her junior year at Menomonee Falls she was a runner along with Molly Nemi, Adriana Gibbs, and Cheyenne Fischer on the 4x2 relay team which posted a 1:45.38 to break a 36 year old school record.

2012 Greater Metro Conference Meet: Champion in the 300m LH, 2nd in the LJ, and 2nd in the TJ .

2013 Greater Metro Conference Meet: Champion in the 100m HH and 300m LH, , 2nd in the TJ, and 3rd in the LJ .

2011 WIAA State Meet Championships: Runner on the 15th place 4x4.

2012 WIAA State Meet Championships: Silver Medalist in the TJ [37' 08.25], runner on 15th place 4x4, and 21st in 300m LH.

2013 WIAA State Meet Championships: 8th in the LJ, 13th in the TJ, and 20th in the 100m HH.
