A large number of athletes [44 heats of the 55m, 200m and 400m dash events] from Wisconsin and Illinois competed at Carthage college at the United States of America Track and Field Wisconsin Indoor Championships. Age group divisions were: 8 & Under, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-16, and 17-18. Performances indicated that the 2014 track and field season could be special.

Danielle Riggins who helped the Trojans of Kenosha Tremper to a D1 2013 State Team Championship [left, below left, and above center, #8199] won the 55m dash in 7.26.
Riggins had quite a day as she also won the 400m long dash in 1:01.24 and the 200m dash in 26.27 after winning both the 55m HH and 55m dash events.

Vaulters in the 17-18 year old division L-R: Winner Bonnie Draxler [Wrightstown, 12' 11.50], Maeve Tuley who competes in the 15-16 year old division is a vaulter from Illinois who trains at GetVertical, Taylor Amann [Arrowhead, 2nd, 11' 05.75], Lily Hayes [Whitefish Bay, 4th, 10' 11.75], and Erin Conyers [Beaver Dam, 7th, 8' 06.25]. Rayce Albino [New Berlin West , 2nd, 11' 05.75] is not pictured.
