Marshfield Columbus Catholic sophomore Alexandra Hutchison has been consistent in challenging the speed barrier in the 100m and 200m dash events. Hutchison is the defending D3 200m [25.68] WIAA Champion. She also placed 4th in the 100m dash at the 2014 State Meet.

This season Hutchison has had performances that have broken into the Top 50 All-Time Athlete lists compiled by Mike Krugel. On May 7th at the Stratford Invitational Hutchison posted times of 11.92 and 24.79 in the dash events.

On Monday, May 11th, at the 39'th Annual Doc Schultz Invitational at Edgar Hutchison was named the Most Valuable Female Athlete. She won the 100m [12.76] and 200m [26.14] dash events on a cold windy night. She was also a runner on the Dons 2nd place 4x1 relay team. Former Newman Catholic star Kristen Barr had held the old record of 26.21 set in 2004. Barr holds the D3 State Record in the 200m dash [25.14].
