The photos from the Poynette basketball game on January 20 show some of the track athletes who will join the track team early in the 2015 season.
Left and right: Megan Pingel. Lakeside finished the year with a 23-1 record.
Lakeside lost their only basketball game in the regional finals to Whitewater 69-61. Whitewater went on to win its sectional and then won two games in Green Bay to become the D3 State Champion in basketball.

After brief announcements the Warriors got to work with warmups. Then the team split up for stations and individual skill work.

Dash and jump athletes used the front drive in front of the school for a series of 150 yard runs with an interval of rest between each run
Athletes were timed in the 150 yard run to montior their run and rest interval times
Coach Calib Davisson worked with the horizointal jump athletes on the track. Athletes concentrated on the runup and the steps to takeoff with no actual jumps.
Athletes recorded their lifts in the weightroom in order to set a baseline to monitor progress on strength during the season
Hurdlers worked in a basement hallway.
