1,110 varsity, JV, frosh/soph, and middle school girls [ over 1,000 boys also competed] ran at the 78th annual Midwestern Invitational hosted by Janesville Craig. Arrowhead edged Kiimberly 85-89 for the team title while Wisconsin Lutheran sophomore Audrey Janik won the varisty race with a time of 18:30.76. On the right Janik and Middleton's Sam Valentine [SR] enterred the finish chute area almost even.

Janik pulled away in the last 100 meters. Valentine was timed in 18:34.11.
