New Berlin West's Rayce Albino To Attend The University Of Missouri
WIAA 2014
Rayce Albino will sign a NLI in April to compete for the Tigers of the University of Missouri
Planning for the future is tough but when you throw in the athletic element of making a choice more 'drama' is introduced to the situation.
Below are some thoughts that a family will go through when making a choice for the future
Rayce Albino, New Berlin West Senior Pole vaulter finally decides
After, what Rayce considered, a disappointing 2014 school season, she rebounded over the summer of 2014 and jumped 13 feet to keep her College prospects interested. She was recruited by Indiana University, University of Wisconsin, University of Minnesota and University of Missouri.
Rayce chose Missouri ... calling it her best opportunity. Rayce considered the facilities, the track program and coach, Dan Lefever to give her the right combination for success.
Rayce and her family met with Dan several times to make sure it was the right decision. Rayce has so much respect for Dan because of his straight forward honest approach and his commitment to his athletes, pole vault and Mizzou! Rayce and her family were highly impressed with the fact that Mizzou just moved to the SEC and had so much to offer Rayce as far as competition and a solid track program with an amazing coaching staff headed up by Brett Halter.
Rayce's family and all her coaches are planning many road trips to watch Rayce be the best she can be at Mizzou!

For a special day friends from New Berlin West who are usually 'Vikings' became 'Missou Tigers.'
We have all read the book on the uses of duct tape. The Schuster kids started their first book on the uses of a vault pole by trying to 'limbo' under the pole.
