Milwaukee Madison Academic Campus senior Jade Nolan set a new D1 record with a distance of 19' 08.50. Nolan who missed the TJ competition to attend her graduation at Milwaukee Madison Academic Campus on Friday night did not arrive in La Crosse until 2 AM on Saturday morning.
The LJ competition took place Saturday morning. Nolan who was tied with Gabby Beauvais [19' 01.00] after the trials set the record and won the Gold Medal on her first jump in finals.
In a hotly contested long jump competition three jumpers actually broke the old record.
