The Marquette Womens Team won the Big East Indoor Championship held at the Ocean Breeze Track & Field Athletic Complex on Staten Island, NY

Freshman Monique Felix (Sheboygan North) was named field event athlete of the meet in winning the pentathlon, placing 2nd in the triple jump and 3rd in the long jump. She also took 7th in the 60 hurdles.
Sophomore Cassy Goodrich (Union Grove) set a new MU school record in the 400m placing 2nd with a time of 53.97.
The women's 4x800m relay set a new school record 8:58.53 placing second. The team was made up of the three Parker sisters Alison, Jennifer, and Jessica, from Neenah and Kayla Spencer who is from Illinois.
Alison Parker and Jessica Parker also ran the 800m and 1600m legs of the Distance Medley Relay that placed second and set a school record of 11:31.45.
Head coach Bert Rogers was named Coach of the Year. Rogers is a three time UW-Milwaukee track and field captain and a graduate of Janesville Parker High School.
