Well over 200 volunteers staff the WIAA State Meet each year. This includes high school students, members of the UW-La Crosse track and field teams, track and field coaches and high school staff members, as well as students from Onalaska High School. All these volunteers help to make the meet a success.
On the right is long time Oconto Falls staff member Jack Mangin. Jack has been a teacher and coach for 50 years. Although set to retire from teaching he will continue to coach wrestling and help in track and field. Jack was one of the hurdle judges at this years meet.

Sophomore Alexus Jackson [left] from Oregon won both hurdle events in D1. She is shown in the 100m HH finals where she posted a time of 14.75 to win the Gold Medal.
She was followed closely by Middleton senior Lauren Smith [above left] who was timed in 14.79 to win the Silver Medal. The Bronze Medal went to Brookfield East senior Alexandria Bullen [above right, 14.91].
